Hey guys, here’s an idea or DIY project. I really wanted to have a portable watercolor set with good pigmented colors. I mean I know I could just buy those crayola or prang watercolor sets but I wanted more “features” to the set. Plus I did find a high quality portable watercolor set with a mini brush and a section where you can pour water into, BUT it was $32.00! I am not gonna pay that much money for a set! So I’ve decided to make my own where I can store any brush(es), have a bigger section where I can pour water into and customize my own colors.

So this is what I did:

I bought a organizational container for scrapbook things from Michaels. This container had removable tabs where you could customize the size of each section (either into a square or rectangle size section). There were 3 permanent rectangular sections and built into these sections are curved edges where I can store my brush. This container also has three locks on all sides.

I haven’t used my Loew Cornell watercolor tubes and I thought it would be cool to put the paints into the container. So I put the paints in each square section and left the containter open so it could dry into a solid watercolor paint (just like those Crayola and Prang sets).

I hope you guys like this idea!!

    New News!

HEY you guys! It’s Reina. and I just wanted to tell you that there will be new  videos coming up! I know we keep saying that we are going to put new stuff up. We’ve been extremely busy. I’ve just graduated from VCU and Dekota has just finished a hectic semester and is entering his senior year. Since I no longer live in Richmond, most of the videos will be recorded separately. There will be a few videos where Dekota and I will star in together! I have recorded make up vids for a makeup series that I’m going to do for the iColour segment of our show. We yet still have to fulfill other segments of our show.

Just a few minutes ago I’ve been watching DIY videos, our old Create Much vids, and recently found out that Rob, Corrine and Meg from Thread Banger announced that they will no longer film any videos! AHH craziness. Well watching all of those things inspired me to continue Create Much. Dekota and I would love to make Create Much a community Youtube channel. So make videos of tutorials, how to’s, things you’ve made, and your rooms! I know, I know… this is sounds a bit like Thread Banger. We actually started Create Much even before we found out about Thread Banger. Just like Rob, Corrine, and Meg, we too would like our viewers to participate on our channel! So be a part of Create Much and send in your videos!

Create Much will slowly but surely upload videos. Keep watching and Thank you guys for suscribing!

    For those who like Guacamole….

Hey guys it’s been awhile that I’ve posted anything. I finally made guacamole on my own. I’ve been into Mexican food lately and of course one of my favorite things are guac. Anyway I decided to make something…

Here are my Gucamole, Corn, Chicken Nachos:

    What you will need:

    - 2 avocados
    - 1 lime
    - 1 garlic clove
    - 3 frozen chicken tenderloins
    - tortilla chips (or you can even cook your own)
    - chili powder
    - salt
    - Pepper
    - tabasco hot sauce
    - olive oil
    - cilantro

    additional and optional ingredient:

    - tomatoes
    - red onion

    Guacamole:
Dice up two avocados into cubes. Mash them in a bowl. Add one garlic clove, finely chopped. Add small hand full of finely chopped cilantro. Squeeze in half a lime into the mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add a little bit of chili poweder or tabasco sauce as well.

    Corn:
Boil 2 ears of corn for 15 mins. Cut kernels into a bowl. Add chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Add a small handful of finely chopped cilantro. Squeeze in the other half of the lime into the mixture.

    Chicken:
Place 3 frozen chicken tenderloins in a pan. Place it in an oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. After 10 mins, take it out, drain the excess water from the pan then add salt, pepper, chili powder, and several dashes of tabasco. Put it back into the oven for 15-18 mins still at 350 degrees. When the chicken is done cooking, let it cool and chopped into cubes or shred them.

Then you can assemble the nachos however you want! enjoyyy!

    Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution

What’s up people! It’s Reina from Create Much and I’ve been watching Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution on ABC. This show was mentioned to me by one of my classmates in my Medical Sociology Class. Food Revolution is an amazing show and it presents the obesity problem that we have in America. Jamie Oliver traveled to Huntington, West Virginia in hopes of inspiring the people of the town to eat healthier and to learn how to cook healthy meals in their own homes. He goes to two schools, an elementary school and high school, and he does an experiment on changing the cafeteria menus to serve healthier and wholesome meals. I believe what Jamie is doing is an awesome thing. We need this and I’m glad that he came here to help us wake up. Obviously obesity has been always been a huge issue in our society. But we need to change. This is not only for obese people out there but we need this change for everyone whether skinny or not. Just what Jamie said in a interview with Oprah, this is not only about being skinny, this is also about what we put in our bodies that could increase the quality and length of our lives. I know many of you out there might think that it’s up to us on what we WANT to eat. And it is our responsibility on how we end up. And I totally understand that notion. But we change more than ever.

No one else will change the food industry for us, so we must change if we want the change. I know there is alot resistance out there but we are the solution to the problems that we have made. Be a part of this. You are making history happen. Please sign Jamie’s petition so he can present it to the White House to prove that people care and that we want change.
